By presenting the legendary life of Hilma af Klint—a Swedish female painter who created some of the earliest abstract paintings in art history through spiritual practice—and by surveying the radical Russian Constructivism, Dutch De Stijl, and revolutionary German Bauhaus movements that emerged in the early 20th century alongside her, this lecture reveals how abstract art profoundly influenced the development of art and design, thereby reshaping human life.

毕业于西安美术学院及英国中央圣马丁艺术与设计学院
曾任教于西安美术学院
积极参与东西方当代艺术的文化交流，
多次策划国内及国际当代艺术展览，
现主要研究方向为西方现当代艺术史

Graduated from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts and Central Saint Martins, UK.
Former faculty at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts,
actively involved in East-West contemporary art exchanges,
and curator of multiple domestic and international exhibitions.
Currently specializes in Western modern and contemporary art history
